Paces & Chases

Explore the thrill of the ride with Bucks County Horse Park’s Hunter Paces and Chases! Trails typically span 4–6 miles, carefully adjusted to suit footing conditions for safety and enjoyment. Riders traverse not only the Park’s beautiful property but also the many acres of private easements we are fortunate to access, offering a mix of scenic vistas, challenging terrain, and a true taste of countryside riding. Whether you’re chasing time, testing your skills, or just enjoying the trails with friends, there’s a pace or chase for every horse-and-rider team!

Registration for all paces & chases is onsite at the horse park the day of the event

Judged Trail Ride

Hit the trails for our Judged Trail Ride, designed to test the partnership between horse and rider. Along the way, you’ll encounter a series of fun and challenging obstacle stations where judges score each rider on skill, control, and overall performance.

Past obstacles have included favorites like a tire stand, branch drag, pool noodle maze, and even horseback broom hockey, keeping the ride entertaining for both competitors and spectators.

At the end of the day, the highest scoring riders across all divisions will go head-to-head for Champion and Reserve Champion honors—each earning a cash prize!

It’s the perfect mix of trail riding, horsemanship, and a little friendly competition—so saddle up and see how your partnership stacks up! Registration opens onsite at 8:30 AM, with riders going out from 9:00 AM to Noon. Riders are judged and placed individually, but can go out in small groups.

Annual Pink Ribbon Ride

Riders, walkers, horses, drivers, and dogs will be Pinked Out in October for the Annual Pink Ribbon Ride!

This fundraiser is hosted by the Bucks County Horse Park to benefit the Pink Ribbon Fund. The Pink Ribbon Fund is managed by the Cancer Center of Lehigh Valley Health Network.

Their mission is to help the families and patients facing this terrible disease lessen their burden by way of personal grants for whatever they may need - medicine, therapy, groceries, etc. Over the last two decades, it has been a huge success with participants riding, walking, and running to help women whose lives are devastated by breast cancer. The Pink Ribbon Ride can be enjoyed as a 3-4 mile trail ride, where you set your own pace and enjoy the ride, or a 1 mile trail for walkers, joggers, and canine participants. Entry fees, along with other fund raising efforts, will be donated to the Pink Ribbon Fund managed by the Cancer Center of Lehigh Valley Health Network. Total funds raised by this event since its inception are over $144,000.
