Eventing Series
We offer a full range of opportunities for horse trial enthusiasts, with facilities supporting all three phases of eventing, including dressage rings, stadium courses, and a cross-country track featuring banks, ditches, and a water complex. Each year, the Park hosts USEA Recognized Horse Trials from Starter through Training, as well as Schooling Horse Trials from Pre-Starter (2’) through Training Level. Friday Evening Eventing provides a relaxed, lower-level option from Pre-Intro (18”) through Beginner Novice, designed to encourage confident, no-pressure participation.

USEA Horse Trials

The weekend kicks off with Young Event Horse (YEH) Tests on Saturday, giving young prospects the perfect stage to showcase their talent and potential in a supportive, well-run environment.

Schooling Horse Trials
The Schooling Horse Trials at Bucks County Horse Park offers a welcoming, educational competition experience for riders from Pre-Starter (2’) through Training (3’3”). Designed to bridge the gap between learning and recognized competition, this series provides a supportive environment where riders and horses can confidently build skills, gain mileage, and refine their partnership across all three phases.
With thoughtfully built courses, professional yet encouraging officials, and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, the focus is on growth and preparation. Whether you’re stepping up a level, bringing along a young horse, or polishing your performance before heading to recognized events, this is the ideal setting to practice under show conditions without the pressure.
Our series culminates with year-end awards recognizing consistency, dedication, and achievement throughout the season — giving riders an exciting goal to work toward all year long.

Friday Evening Eventing
All about building confidence, prioritizing safety, and keeping the experience fun for riders at every step of the journey. This series offers divisions from Leadline through Beginner Novice and is thoughtfully designed for green horses, young riders, and anyone looking for a positive introduction to the sport of eventing.
The atmosphere is relaxed and encouraging. Courses are inviting, questions are straightforward, and the focus is on correct basics rather than maximum specifications. Riders can concentrate on developing rhythm, balance, and partnership without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
What truly sets this series apart is our safety-first, trainer-friendly approach. Rules are intentionally tailored to allow hands-on trainer participation when needed — whether that means assistance in the warm-up, supportive guidance ringside, or stepping in to maintain rider confidence. The goal is not perfection, but progress.
Families, friends, and barnmates are encouraged to cheer each other on, creating a welcoming community vibe that celebrates small victories and personal milestones. Throughout the season, riders accumulate points toward year end awards, celebrating dedication, improvement, and sportsmanship across the series.
