A long established tradition at the Bucks County Horse Park, 2009 marks the 17th year for the Thursday Morning Horse Show Series. Our philosophy is to provide the opportunity to exhibit in a fun schooling atmosphere, while being introduced to the rules and procedures of more formal shows. All courses become slightly more challenging as the show series continues, to allow horses and riders to progress throughout the season. This show series awards culminates at the Annual Banquet in November where year end award receipts are honored with trophies and ribbons.

The series of twelve shows has a few new features in 2009. You will see the return of the five Jumper Divisions and the weekly trainer’s awards but we also will be offering a $60 Team Challenge. New classes include a Hunter Pairs, Family class and the return of Model Hunter. For our younger competitors there will a new Mini Stirrup and a Games division.

Year End Awards are awarded to those competitors who have competed at 6 Thursday Morning Horse Show. These include the Spring and Fall Jumper Shows for the jumper divisions. Year End Awards Points for the TMHS Jumpers Points are combined with those earned at the Spring and Fall Jumper Shows for Year End Awards.

JUMPER INFO:  Effective immediately, both the Spring Fling and the Fall Classic jumper shows will count as a show toward the total of 6 shows needed for year-end-awards.

1. Competitors must attend 6 shows to qualify for Year End Points in a division.
2. Competitors need not be Members to qualify.
3. Year End Points in Hunter Divisions are accumulated by the Horse.
4. Year End Points for Equitation, 1st and 2nd Year Beginners and Leadline Divisions are accumulated by the Rider.
5. Year End Points for Jumpers are accumulated by each Rider and Horse Combination.
